Beautiful Sunnybrook Estates Wedding…

Loved this absolutely adorable wedding. Emily’s face was bursting with joy and delight the whole day – a truly radiant bride… the two share something very special indeed. One of my favourite elements from the day were the exquisite flowers by Lisa Collins of Sweet Woodruff. So enchanting, simple and graceful. The Sunnybrook Estates made the absolute perfect backdrop to this very elegant garden style wedding. Amazing working with Enduring Promises (officiant) Even the couple mentioned a few times how impressed they were with there service.

A little random, but I had to throw in some of the crazy photobooth shots from the end of the evening… They were a wild bunch.

Winter/Spring Issue of Wedluxe Magazine: Kate Spade Inspired Shoot!

Oh this was a fun creative shoot. It’s such a privilege working with such talented people in the industry. The creative genius behind this shoot was Cynthia Martin, flowers by Tara Mutter-Slagter of Fuscia Designs (isn’t the purse the sweetest!), hair and make-up by Carla Nayor of Faces by Carla and the location, the Clipper room at the Carlu. Invitations by Palettera, wedding cake by The Wedding Cake Shoppe, gown and accessories by Jim Hjelm Collection available at Sash & Bustle.

Brides to be, if you haven’t picked up a copy yet, this winter spring issue is a MUST-HAVE. It’s packed full with tons of ideas and beauty… You won’t regret it.

This wedding was simply delightful. Jonathan and Josee have to be two of the sweetest people on the planet. Their approach to the day was super fun and creative! 8 months…

SO many clients have been asking to see pictures of me preggo’s. So here you go! Special thanks to the incredibly talented Carla Nayor of Faces by Carla (you’ve been amazing to work with this year) and the one and only Lisa Petrole for taking the photos. I’ve known Lisa since photography school at Humber back in 2003. She was always one of the top students and I always admired her work. (Thank-you Lisa for being so patient with me…)

Many have been asking me what next year will look like with a baby. To answer that question, I personally will be taking it easy for 2012. I am shooting only a limited number of weddings and will be taking a break on the portrait side of things (babies/families/etc.). Jessica Storkey who is an exceptional portrait photographer will be handling that side of the business and we have a couple other AMAZING wedding photographers who have also joined the team.
