What is the first step?

Jump on over to our Contact page and send us an inquiry or better yet give us a call (905.819.6789). Then we can get the ball rolling with setting up a time for us to meet! We understand that some of our clients live out of town or lead busy lives so if it's more convenient we can arrange a Skype or phone chat.

How far in advance do I need to book with you?

Certain dates tend to be more popular and get booked very fast. However other dates can be available last minute. Many of our clients book 2 years in advance! Give us a call or send us an email and we will let you know if your wedding date is still available.

What if it rains on my wedding day?

Some of the best and romantic photos can be captured on a cloudy or stormy day. That being said we do like to discuss and have in place an alternate location and plan. We also come very equipped with lighting and tricks to work indoors if needed. Rain has never hindered us from capturing amazing photos. Purchasing pretty umbrellas are a good idea too ;)

We have a destination wedding. Do you travel?

Absolutely! We've had the privilege of traveling to many beautiful places across Canada and the U.S. As well as Italy, Jamaica, Dominican, Cuba and Mexico. We have a fixed rate package for most destinations (this includes the additional time incurred with the travel portion). However we've love to hear more about your plans so we can customize a quote for you.

How many photographs do you take on our wedding day?

On average we shoot approximately 100 images per hour. All images are taken in a raw camera format that gives us the freedom to convert to B&W or colour in our post production. Roughly 30-40% of the images taken are converted into B&W. A selection of images is made and shown to you initially via an online slideshow. However, all of our packages include a set of all the images, edited, and prepared for you on a custom USB.

Do you edit all the images?

Yes we do. Although some studios only offer the raw images and charge you for editing photos. We make sure that every image you receive from us is edited and ready for display or print. You own the rights to these photos and can reproduce them as you wish.

What about a backup plan if you (or my scheduled photographer) are unable to shoot my wedding for some reason?

We have a great team of associates to pool from should something unforeseen happen to your photographer.

What is the best time to do engagement photos or pre-wedding portraits?

All engagement photos are scheduled during the week throughout our peek season (May - Oct.), with the odd exception that a weekend is available. Ideal shoot times during the summer months start 1-2 hours prior to the sunset. This enables us to work with the best light. We are always open to new ideas that incorporate who are you and what you love to do together. We’re open to working with you at the cottage, on the ski hill, at an amusement park, on a boat, or simply together in your cozy kitchen.

We want Crimson!! - How do we book?!

Once you are ready to secure your date, we will send over a contract for you to sign. We require a 50% deposit and that's it! It doesn't get easier than that. We prefer eTransfer for deposits. However Visa or Mastercard are also accepted.

Why the name Crimson?
